The President of African Loom, Mr. Maxwell Edusei, is a native of Ghana who has resided in the United States for the last 40 years. Mr. Edusei attended Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics. Upon graduation, Mr. Edusei saw a viable market in customizing multi-destination tours to Africa for the leisure and academic community. He began organizing tours to Ghana, West Africa in 1992 and South Africa in 1997, fulfilling a desire Americans had for learning more about the history of the slave trades and Ghanaian culture.
African Loom Tours has organized many successful customized tours to multi-destinations in Africa for civic associations, fraternities and sororities, churches, local and federal governments and private industries. African Loom has designed group programs from trade missions to promotional packages. African Loom’s well-executed business and educational tours have brought together diverse groups of people including government officials and corporate executives from the United States and Ghanaian leaders to explore and create an economically feasible liaison that encourages growth and development in Africa.
African Loom Tours, aiming to become the international tourism gateway between the United States and Africa, has consistently improved its services by catering to the specific needs of each group by tailoring tours that meet the demands and expectations of the group. African Loom Tour's staff works with its clients from concept to culmination to ensure maximum benefit with minimum funds. African Loom works with any budget and guarantees its clients life-altering experiences. It is also an educational center where people can learn about their African heritage.
